SRINAGAR: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo, has extended her warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasions of Shab-e-Qadr and Juma-tul-Vida.

In her greetings, Sakeena said that this blessed night of Shab-e-Qadr is a pious occasion to introspect in our lives and seek forgiveness from Almighty Allah. She added that this night is for reflection and repentance, seeking Allah’s mercy and reflecting on one’s deeds.

While greeting people on the eve of Juma-tul-Vida, Sakeena Itoo said that this day is very unique for seeking the blessings of Allah in holy month of Ramadan. She added that we should focus on giving charity in this holy month, as acts of kindness and charity are rewarded in abundance. Sakeena also prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, the Minister for Agriculture Production and Rural Development Departments, Javed Ahmad Dar, today extended his hearty greetings to the people on the auspicious occasions of Shab-e-Qadr and Jumat-ul-Vida.

Highlighting the spiritual significance of these sacred days in Islamic history, the Minister emphasized their deep reverence for the Muslim Ummah. He noted that on Shab-e-Qadr, the Holy Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) as a divine guide for humanity. The night is observed with prayers, seeking Allah’s forgiveness, blessings, and infinite mercy.

Similarly, Jumat-ul-Vida, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, holds great importance for Muslims. It is a day of devotion, reflection, and solidarity with the oppressed and underprivileged.

The Minister prayed for peace, harmony, and brotherhood among all communities in Jammu and Kashmir, urging people to uphold the values of compassion and unity.

Meanwhile, Minister for Jal Shakti, Forests, and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana extended his greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Qadr and Jumat-ul-Vida.

In his message, Javed Rana prayed for betterment of the people and hoped that the occasions would bring Allah’s blessings to all.

He said that the occasions hold enormous religious and spiritual significance for the Muslim community.

Extending his greetings, Javed Rana said that Shab-e-Qadr is a night of spiritual renewal and a chance to ask for Allah’s blessings, kindness, and guidance.

“Shab-e-Qadr and Jumat-ul-Vida have enormous significance in our lives because they serve as a reminder for Muslims to live lives that are filled with righteousness, compassion, and unity. These are occasions that hold a special place in our hearts, and we should try to perform as many good deeds as possible,” he said.

He also prayed that the auspicious occasions would strengthen the bonds of communal harmony and brotherhood and be a harbinger of peace and prosperity in J&K.
