Sagar seeks adequate arrangements for Jumat-ul-Vida observance

Srinagar: The General Secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, has called upon the administration to make necessary arrangements for the observance of Jumat-ul-Vida.

In a statement released from the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, Sagar emphasized the importance of ensuring a smooth experience for devotees during these revered occasions. “With major shrines and Jamias across Jammu and Kashmir expecting a surge in visitors, it is crucial for the administration to enhance arrangements to accommodate the increased footfall,” he said.

Sagar stressed the need for providing essential facilities, such as transportation for worshipers and devotees attending congregational prayers at mosques and shrines. Additionally, he urged the administration to guarantee uninterrupted access to potable water and electricity, as well as maintain cleanliness and sanitation in and around religious sites.

Furthermore, Sagar called upon the management of shrines and Auqaf authorities to collaborate effectively in order to meet the demands of the growing number of devotees. “It is imperative that all stakeholders work together to ensure a seamless and fulfilling experience for those visiting the shrines on auspicious occasions.”
