Gulmarg receives fresh snowfall; MeT predicts light rains, snow over higher reaches in Kashmir

Srinagar: Upper reaches in Kashmir received fresh snowfall, while plains received intermittent rains on Wednesday.

As per reports, several upper reaches including Zojila Pass, Sinthan Top, Sadhna Top, Gurez and other places received fresh snowfall. The light drizzle was witnessed in Srinagar intermittently throughout the day.

Pertinently, the weatherman had predicted light to moderate rains and snowfall in the Union Territory.

As per the forecast, a spell of light to moderate rain and snow (higher reaches) at many places is expected (mainly over north & central Kashmir) till tomorrow.

From March 28 to April 3, the weather is expected to remain dry.
