8 drug peddlers booked under PIT NDPS Act in Budgam

Srinagar: Police in Budgam have booked eight drug peddlers under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT-NDPS) Act since Jan-2025, a police spokesperson informed Tuesday.

Booked drug peddlers were identified as Nazir Ahamd Sheikh of Tangnar Chadoora; Mohammad Sultan Bhat of Sholipora; Mohammad Altaf Ganie of Dardpora; Farooq Ahamd Sheikh of Tangnar Chadoora; Abdul Hameed Dar of Sholipora; Reyaz Ahamd Ahanger of Shandpora Watakuloo; Mehraj Ahmad Mir of Choon and Mohammad Rafiq Dar of Russu.
