Satish Sharma pays tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev on 94th Martyrs’ Day

JAMMU: Minister for FCS&CA, Transport, Youth Services and Sports, Information Technology, Science and Technology, ARI & Trainings, Satish Sharma paid rich tributes to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev at a function here organised to observe the 94th Martyrs Day.

Satish Sharma, while paying tribute to the martyrs, said that the trio of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru have made the supreme sacrifice in the revered feet of Bharat Mata. “Their sacrifice inspired millions of people and fuelled the spirit of freedom struggle against the British rule,” he said.

The Minister said that today we are able to breathe and roam in a free environment, as thousands laid down their lives including children. We must respect their sacrifices and never forget that they laid down their lives for our freedom, he added.

During the Martyrs’ Day a multi-speciality free Ayush Medical Camp was also organised to pay homage to the great sacrifices of these iconic revolutionaries while providing vital healthcare services to the community.

The event was organised by the Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation under the supervision of Dr. Karan Singh.

Among others, former OBC Chairman Kuldeep Raj Verma, Padamshree SP Verma and a huge gathering of people was also present on the occasion.
