Jammu: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today paid tributes to veteran leader and parliamentarian Lalmuni Chaubey.
Addressing a public event commemorating his death anniversary at Buxar in Bihar, the LG, according to an official press release issued here, spoke on the lifelong campaigns of the political figure dedicated to public welfare and nation building.
“Lalmuni Chaubey-Ji was a widely respected leader who had dedicated every fragment of his body and every moment of his life to the service of the people and to restore the glory of Mother India. He was a beacon of hope for the underprivileged section of society and dedicated himself to dignity, equality and opportunity for all. His life and ideals will inspire generations to come.
“During Emergency, when individual freedom was in peril, Lalmuni Chaubey protected it with all his might. He championed the cause of national unity and integrity and propagated discipline and self-confidence among people,” the LG said.
The LG called upon the people, especially the youth to take inspiration from the life of Chaubey and his commitment to public service and work selflessly for the betterment of the society.
The LG said, “If we all dedicate ourselves to a noble cause that could make a strong and prosperous society and contribute to a developed India and Atma-Nirbhar villages, only then we will be able to pay our real tributes to that great soul.
