Srinagar: An elderly man lost his life after being hit by an unknown vehicle in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday.
An official said that an unknown vehicle hit Bashir Ahmad Khan, son of Abdul Ahad Khan of Nandpora Anantnag, leaving him critically injured, news agency JKNS reported.
The injured person was rushed to GMC Anantnag where doctors declared him dead.
Police have registered a case and started an investigation to trace the vehicle involved in the accident.
