Under the aegis of the Chinar Corps and Aseem Foundation, a Women’s Cricket Team from Kashmir embarked on a cricket tour from Srinagar to Pune today, taking a significant step towards realizing their dreams. This tour will provide the players with an opportunity to hone their cricketing skills while playing and learning from the experience of the Maharashtra Cricket Team.
The 15-member squad was flagged off by the General Officer Commanding (GOC), Chinar Corps, in a ceremony held at Badami Bagh, Srinagar. The initiative aims to offer exposure to the young athletes, allowing them to enhance their skills, engage with their counterparts from Maharashtra, and interact with cricketing dignitaries. Additionally, the team will have the opportunity to explore Mumbai, the financial capital of the country.
Aseem Foundation, Pune, has played a crucial role in facilitating this event by securing national-level facilities for the matches, ensuring that the players get the best possible experience.
