Power shutdown scheduled in Srinagar, Pampore for maintenance works

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown in parts of Srinagar and Pampore to facilitate maintenance work on key transmission lines.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the 33KV Barbarshah TRC Nedous Tap line will remain shut from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on March 11, 2025, to carry out maintenance on the 33KV Bemina-Barbarshah TRC Tap line, which serves as a backup for the 33KV Cheshmashahi TRC Nedous Line.

Similarly, for stabilization, pole erection, and preventive maintenance of the 33KV Pampore-Lethpora line, a power shutdown will be observed on March 10 and March 12, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. As a result, the 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Konibal, Lethpora, LIS Ladhoo, Mills, and HPCL will remain non-operational, affecting power supply to Samboora, Lethpora, Patalbagh, Konibal, Chandhara, and Ladhoo.

Consumers in the affected areas are advised to make necessary arrangements in advance. KPDCL has assured that all efforts will be made to complete the maintenance work within the scheduled time to minimize inconvenience.
