Govt orders transfers in administration

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir government on Saturday ordered major reshuffle in civil administration with the transfers and postings of 41 JKAS and Junior Scale JKAS officers with immediate effect.

According to an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), Vivek Sharma, Special Secretary in the Agriculture Production Department, has been transferred and posted as Director General, Floriculture, Jammu. The officer shall join the new place of posting upon the retirement on superannuation of Jatinder Singh on March 31, 2025.

Bhawani Rakwal, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.

Khalid Jahangir, Managing Director, J&K Trade Promotion Organization, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Industries and Commerce Department. He shall also hold the charge of the post of Director, Entrepreneurship Development Institute, J&K, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.

Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Managing Director, J&K Housing Board.

Rubina Kausar, Special Secretary to the Government, Labour and Employment Department, has been transferred and posted as Director, Libraries, J&K, against an available vacancy.

Sudershan Kumar, Secretary, J&K Board of School Education, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, J&K Trade Promotion Organization.

Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Vice-Chairman, Lakes, Conservation and Management Authority, J&K.

Naseem Javaid Chowdhary, Managing Director, J&K Horticulture Produce, Marketing and Processing Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Director, School Education, Jammu.

Mohammad Younis Malik, Vice-Chairman, Lakes, Conservation and Management Authority, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department.

Vikas Sharma, Director, Horticulture, Planning and Marketing, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Housing and Urban Development Department. He shall also hold the charge of the post of Mission Director, Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), in addition to his own duties, till further orders.

Mohammad Nazir Sheikh, under orders of repatriation to J&K from the Union Territory of Ladakh, has been posted as Director, Handicrafts and Handloom, Jammu.

Ashok Kumar Sharma, Director, School Education, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Labour and Employment Department.

Rajinder Kumar Sharma, Director, Entrepreneurship Development Institute, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Jal Shakti Department.

Puneet Sharma, Director, Geology and Mining, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department. He will also look after the work of DILRMP, NAKSHA, SVAMITVA, and AGRISTACK.

Suraj Parkash Rukwal, Director, Handicrafts and Handloom, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Director, Geology and Mining, J&K.

Mohammad Farooq Dar, Special Secretary to the Government, Skill Development Department, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, J&K Horticulture Produce, Marketing and Processing Corporation.

Abdul Sattar, Special Secretary to the Government, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Tourism Department.

Ashish Kumar Gupta, Managing Director, J&K Housing Board, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Skill Development Department.

Rakesh Magotra, Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Member, J&K Services Selection Board.

Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, Additional District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, J&K Board of School Education.

Rifat Aftab Qureshi, Deputy Commissioner, State Taxes (Stamps), Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Srinagar.

Ghulam Jeelani Zargar, Joint Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Director, Horticulture, Planning and Marketing, J&K.

Shokat Mehmood, Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Kathua, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Information Technology Department.

Vishal Sharma, Additional Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Hospitality and Protocol Department.

Mohammad Anwar Banday, Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Reasi, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, School Education Department.

Sunaina Sharma, Joint Director, Tourism, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Principal, Revenue Training Institute, Jammu.

Syed Shabir Ahmad, General Manager, DIC, Pulwama, has been transferred and posted as Joint Director, Education (Central), Kashmir, against an available vacancy.

Mohammad Syed Khan, Member, J&K Services Selection Board, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Public Works (R&B) Department.

Hakeem Tanveer Ahmad, Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Kupwara, has been transferred and posted as Joint Director, Education (North), Kashmir, against an available vacancy.

Pankaj Bhagotra, Regional Transport Officer, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Reasi.

Vivek Phonsa, Additional Secretary to the Government, Public Works (R&B) Department, has been transferred and posted as Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Kathua.

Surinder Paul Sharma, Joint Registrar, Cooperatives (Special), Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Regional Transport Officer, Kathua (Hqr: Lakhanpur), against an available vacancy.

Ajaz Qesar Malik, Additional Secretary to the Government, Information Technology Department, has been transferred and posted as Joint Director, Tourism, Jammu.

Jasmeet Singh, Principal, Revenue Training Institute, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Regional Transport Officer, Jammu.

More transfers and postings were made in a separate order issued by GAD.

Zeba Suleman, presently posted as Assistant Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Samba, has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department.

Rahul Gupta, presently posted as DSWO, Ramban, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, for further posting.

Supinder Kour, presently posted as Under Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department, has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary in the J&K Public Service Commission.

Nowshad Anjum Mir, presently posted as Assistant Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kupwara, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the Social Welfare Department, for further posting.

Irfan ul Ashaq, presently posted as CDPO, Narvaw, Baramulla, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, for further posting.

Sahir Majeed, presently posted as DSWO, Bandipora, has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary in the J&K Public Service Commission.

Nazir Ahmad Rather, Under Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat References Monitoring Cell, General Administration Department, has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary to the Government, Hospitality and Protocol Department.
