Productive meeting held between J&K Waqf Board Chairperson and All India Ulmae Mashaikh Board

Srinagar: A highly productive meeting was held today between the All India Ulmae Mashaikh Board and a deputation led by Rouf Ahmad Shah, President of the J&K Youth Wing, with Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board.

The discussions focused on key developmental issues concerning the region, particularly the beautification of shrines and mosques, the accountability of Waqf properties, and the fabrication of toilets and restrooms at religious sites.

During the meeting, the delegation expressed appreciation for the significant developments undertaken by the Waqf Board under Dr. Andrabi’s leadership. They emphasized the need for a stepwise approach to address other pressing concerns, ensuring a comprehensive plan for the region’s progress.

Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, known for her visionary leadership, once again demonstrated her commitment to public service and the socio-cultural advancement of Jammu and Kashmir.
