Senior journalist Naseer Ahmad passes away

Srinagar: Senior journalist and former Bureau Chief of Zee News in Kashmir, Naseer Ahmad, passed away on Saturday morning.

He was 60. His Nimaz-e-Jinaza (funeral prayers) were offered after Zuhr prayers in Bemina, Srinagar.

Naseer is survived by his wife and two daughters. His demise has been widely mourned by the journalist fraternity and political leaders.

Naseer joined the electronic media when there were only a few outlets and proved his mettle. A curious reporter, a seasoned analyst and a warm human being, Naseer was a full package of goodness. Kashmir Images condoles his sad demise. May Allah grant him Jannah… Ameen.
