Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Sopore and recovered contraband substance from his possession, an official handout informed Saturday.
It said Nazir Ahmad Lone, son of Ghulam Nabi Lone of Shalkote Rohama Rafiabad, was arrested at a checkpoint at Panji Colony Rohama, and 42 grams of contraband cannabis-like substance was recovered from his possession.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Panzalla for further investigation.
