Kulgam: A 35-year-old electrician died while repairing an electricity line at his home in Audipora Qaimoh area of south Kashmir Kulgam district Thursday evening.
Quoting officials, news agency JKNS said that Sheraz Ahmad Naikoo died of electric shock while repairing an electric line at home. He was rushed by locals to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident, and initiated further proceedings.
