Planned power shutdowns announced in Kashmir

Srinagar: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in several areas of Kashmir to facilitate essential maintenance and infrastructure upgrades.

According to CE KPDCL that in order to carry out shifting of 132 KV CTs/LAs in Delina Pattan Ckt-II , the power supply of 33kv feeders including Pattan, HMT, Markandal, Gulmarg and areas including Magam, Mirgund, Markandal, Sumbal, Tangmarg, Hamray, Palhallan, Singhpora, Hanjiwera shall remain affected on February 17 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

To carry out erection at Tr. Line Tower between Tower No. 76 and Tower No. 77 of 220 KV Wagoora Zainakote Line for increasing vertical clearance between 132 KV Budgam-IRCON line and 220 KV Wagoora Zainakote Tr. Line, the power supply of 33kv feeders including Laar/Tullamulla, Kurhama/Dab, Safapora/Wangipora, Army/Hakbara, Ajas/Nadihal, Aloosa/Panzigaam, Ajar Bandipora, Gurez, Wassun, Kangan, Sarfaraw/Gagangeer, Power House/Manigaam, Nagbal/Tulbagh, Gulabagh/Ahmad Nagar, BAMK, Zakoora, Lalbazaar, Habak line, Illahibagh and feeding areas including Nagbal, Darend, Busserbug, Gulababad, Zukura, Beehama, Duderhama, Harran, Armpora, Manigaam, Gutlibagh, Nuner, Baderkund, Armpora, Waheedpora, Saloora, Bambloora, Arch, Wayil, Gadoora, Fathpora, Shalabugh, Chundina, Tulbagh, Kuraq, Kachan shall remain affected on February 22 & 23 from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

While power supply of 33kv feeders including Kremshore, Budgam, Ichgam, Watrihail, Chadoora, Char-i-Sharief and feeding areas including Kremshore, Ichgam, Budgam, Watrihail, Chadoora, Brenwar, Khansahab, Hanjoora, Nagam, Hanjoora, Barwah Hafroo, Wathoora, Charisharief and adjoining areas shall remain affected on February 24 & 25 from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
