Udhampur: A person was killed Sunday morning when his car collided with a truck near Darmthal Udhampur on Srinagar-Jammu national highway.
Quoting officials, news agency JKNS reported that the victim identified as Ashkoor, son of Raj Ali from Samroli village, died on the spot after a truck lost control and collided with his car.
His body was shifted to Government Medical College Hospital, Udhampur, for post-mortem while police have arrested the driver of the truck involved in the accident and registered a case for investigation.
