The Centre is intended to assist candidates preparing for competitive examinations such as the IAS and KAS by providing them with extensive academic resources.

ICP is a trust patronized by A.G. Mir and has been instrumental in guiding Civil Services aspirants through its residential coaching academy.

The institution has successfully produced nearly 300 officers in IAS, IPS, KAS, and KPS, in the last 15 years playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of public administration.

The library has been established with financial support under CSR from Jamna Auto Industries Ltd., highlighting the company’s strong commitment to assisting students in their competitive exam preparation.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Founder Trustees Aziz Ahmad, KAS, and Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari, KAS besides other senior officers associated with the Trust, Ahsan ul Haq Chesti and Burhaan Hussain, KAS. Scores of students were also present at the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, A.G. Mir expressed concern over the declining number of candidates opting for competitive exams, particularly the IAS and KAS. He emphasized the need to motivate students in schools and colleges to consider careers in public service and underscored the importance of conducting seminars to create awareness. He urged college and university teachers to actively play their role in inspiring and guiding students toward Civil Services, highlighting their crucial contribution to shaping future administrators.

The newly inaugurated library is expected to serve as a hub of knowledge, equipping students with the necessary resources and academic support to succeed in Civil Services.

The event concluded with a special acknowledgement of Jamna Auto Industries Ltd. and other stakeholders for their generous support in making this project a reality.
