Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Sopore and recovered contraband substance from his possession, an official handout informed Sunday.
It said one Fazil Rashid Mir, son of Abdul Rashid Mir of Nadihal Rafiabad, was arrested at Nadihal Crossing after 25 grams of cannabis-like substance was recovered from his possession.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Panzalla for further investigation.
