IISM Gulmarg successfully concludes 3rd snow skiing course

Gulmarg: The Indian Institute of Skiing & Mountaineering (IISM) successfully concluded its 3rd Snow Skiing Course today, marking the end of an intensive and enriching training program.

A total of 92 students participated in the course, including 77 in the Basic category, 14 in Intermediate, and one in Advanced. Designed for participants aged 10 to 40, the course provided hands-on skiing experience under the supervision of expert instructors.

The closing ceremony saw trainees showcase their newly acquired skiing skills with enthusiasm. Col I.S. Thapa, SM, VSM, MID, Principal of IISM, distributed prizes to the top performers and awarded certificates to all successful participants. He lauded the dedication and hard work of both students and instructors, encouraging them to continue honing their skills in winter sports.

Col Thapa also expressed his gratitude to the instructors and staff for their commitment to ensuring the smooth execution of the course. He commended their efforts in delivering effective training and contributing to the overall success of the program.
