Srinagar: Police in Sopore have detained a “notorious criminal” under the Public Safety Act, an official handout informed Thursday.
It said one Rafiq Ahmad Khan, son of Mutawali Khan, a resident of Khudwani Ladu Ladoora Rafiabad, was detained under the Public Safety Act (PSA) after receiving a formal detention order from the competent authority. He has been taken into custody and is now held at District Jail Udhampur.
Police said many criminal cases are registered against Rafiq Ahmad Khan.
