Tangmarg: Farooq Ahmad Shah, MLA Gulmarg, convened a Teachers Interaction Programme at Government Higher Secondary School Kunzer, centered on the theme “Innovate, Inspire, and Impact Lives” through Education.”

The program aimed to highlight the critical role of education in shaping the future of the constituency.

Speaking at the event, Farooq Ahmad Shah reaffirmed his commitment to making education his top priority. “Education will remain my first priority, and I will personally oversee the functioning of the education sector in my constituency,” he stated.

Announcing determined reforms, the MLA outlined plans to establish 20 new kindergarten schools across both zones of the constituency to strengthen the foundation of early education. He emphasized the importance of accountability in the education system, stating, “We will implement a system where the best-performing teachers will be awarded annually, while teachers showing poor performance will be held accountable.”

Farooq Ahmad Shah also expressed his vision for transforming Gulmarg into a model region for education and healthcare. “Over the next five years, we will ensure significant reforms in the education sector to improve its overall quality and accessibility,” he assured.

In recognition of exceptional achievements, the MLA distributed appreciation certificates to teachers who delivered excellent results in the previous academic year. He was accompanied by ZEO Kunzer and ZEO Tangmarg, who extended their support for the initiatives.

The Interaction Programme marked a step forward in the journey towards creating an innovative and impactful education system in the constituency.

Later, MLA Gulmarg inaugurated the Grey Shades Diagnostic Centre at Chandilora. Party functionaries and distinguished personalities of the constituency were present on the occasion.
