JKNHMEA delegation calls on CM Omar Abdullah

Jammu: A high-level delegation of JKNHMEA on Tuesday met Chief Minister Omar Abdullah here at the Civil Secretariat to seek the latter’s intervention over various issues of employees working under the ambit of NHM.

Among the delegates included; JKNHMEA Divisional Presidents Dr. Vikas Sharma and Muneer Andrabi, along with Sr. Vice Presidents Altaf Ahmad Bhat and other respected members of the association.

The representatives extended a detailed overview of functioning and achievements of the NHM Scheme in the UT and simultaneously briefed him on issues related to employees working under NHM.

The delegation emphasised on a plethora of concerns, including; Enhancement in salary structure and Pay revision under NHM; Job policy and absorption policy formulation for NHM employees with reference to commitment made by the 2018 Government; Financial assistance benefit in favour of retired NHM employees; Extended benefit of EPF to left out categories under NHM.

Chief Minister upon giving a patient hearing to the issues highlighted by the delegation assured that he will approve the proposals which are in favour of NHM employees.

The employees towards the end again informed that AJKNHMEA is working hard at its best capabilities to address the issues of NHM employees with higher authorities under the leadership of Dr Vikas and Muneer Andrabi.
