KULGAM: Continuing its drive to achieve a 100% computerized billing system in Kulgam, a team of Drug Control Officers today closed down operations of two medical sale establishments during an inspection conducted in various areas of the district.
The operation of the medical sale establishments was closed down at the Matalhama area for non-compliance to Govt. the directive wrt Computerized Billing System (CBS) and other conditions of licences during an inspection carried out in Matalhama, Cheddar, Bhan, Ashmuji, Tulinowpora among other adjoining villages.
Also, statutory samples of various medicines were lifted and sent for analysis purposes to check their quality parameters.
It is worthwhile to mention that all the retail, as well as wholesale Drug sale establishments, have been directed to install a robust computerized billing system to plug in gaps for any misuse of Scheduled drugs.
