Srinagar: Police in Kulgam have solved a theft case and recovered a stolen vehicle by arresting the accused person involved in the crime, an official handout informed today.
It said acting on a complaint from one Azam Khan, son of Mohammad Ismail Khan of Ramban about the theft of his vehicle (JK13A-4716), from Jama Masjid Nawa (Qazigund), police tracked down the stolen vehicle at Wullarhama Pahalgam, and was recovered subsequently.
During the operation, the Police apprehended the accused, identified as Shahid Ahmad Bhat, son of Bashir Ahmad Bhat, resident of Wullarhama Pahalgam. Investigations are ongoing to determine whether additional individuals were involved in the theft.
