Govt orders transfers in administration

Srinagar: The government on Thursday repatriated three police officers from the Anti Corruption Bureau to Home Department and ordered the transfer of several other officers.

According to a government order, three SPs—Abdul Wahid Shah (JKPS), Mohammad Rashid (JKPS) and Rakesh Kumar (JKPS) have been repatriated from ACB, news agency GNS reported.

Subsequently, Deep Singh Jamwal (JKPS), Manzoor Ahmad Mir (JKPS), and Mamta Sharma (JKPS) have been posted in the Anti Corruption Bureau, J&K, from the Home Department, with immediate effect.

Also, Javid Hussain Bhat (JKPS), Mehmood Ahmad (JKPS) and Abdul Qayoom (JKPS) have been posted in ACB on deputation basis.

Mohammad Saleem Bhat (JKPS), posted as Dy.SP in the ACB, upon his promotion as Superintendent of Police, shall continue in the Bureau as Additional Superintendent of Police, ACB on deputation basis from the Home Department along with post (AWP), the order reads.

It also said that Dr. Ashok Sharma (JKPS), Superintendent of Police, under orders of transfer to CID, in terms of Government Order No. 364-Home of 2024 dated 16.08.2024, has been relieved from the ACB, J&K with immediate effect.
