Gulmarg: The second snow skiing course at the Indian Institute of Skiing & Mountaineering (IISM), Gulmarg, concluded today with a grand ceremony held at the institute’s conference hall.
The event marked the culmination of the rigorous course and celebrated the achievements of the participants.
The ceremony was presided over by Colonel I.S. Thapa, SM, VSM, MID, Principal of IISM, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his address, Col. Thapa lauded the dedication and hard work of the students, who demonstrated remarkable progress throughout the course. He also expressed his deep appreciation for the efforts of the ski instructors and administrative staff, crediting them for the course’s success.
During the ceremony, Col. Thapa distributed prizes and certificates to the participants, acknowledging their commitment to mastering skiing techniques and their enthusiasm for adventure sports.
