Chris, Angelo, Bruce, and Tony decided to explore Blackened Hollow, an old village, people said was haunted. No one lived there anymore, but rumours about strange sounds and lights still scared some people. Chris wanted to make a video for his vlog.

“Why are we even here?” Tony asked, kicking the dirt. “What if it’s not real?”

“It’s real,” Chris said. “It’s perfect for my vlog.”

The four of them walked through the dark woods until they reached the village. The houses were falling apart. Windows were broken, and doors hung crooked on their hinges. But something felt wrong. The air was cold, and thick fog covered the ground.

“I don’t like this,” Angelo said, his voice shaky.

Chris led them into the biggest house in the middle of the village. Inside, it was strange—old paintings hung on the walls, and the floorboards looked new, like someone had just cleaned them. But everything was too quiet, and a strange sound filled the air—a low hum like someone was singing.

“That’s creepy,” Tony said, shivering.

“It’s nothing,” Chris said. “Let’s keep going.”

They followed the sound down a dark hallway and found a door leading to a basement. The humming was louder now, like it was coming from the room below. Chris opened the door, and they all went down the stairs. In the middle of the basement, there was an old mirror.

When they looked into it, they saw their reflections—but something was wrong. The people in the mirror had dark eyes and looked scared, like they were trapped.

Suddenly, the mirror started to glow. Cold, ghostly hands reached out and grabbed Chris. Angelo screamed, but the hands pulled Chris into the mirror.

The others tried to run, but the figures in the mirror stepped out and reached for them too. The room seemed to get smaller, and the sound of screaming grew louder. One by one, the four friends were pulled into the mirror, their faces twisted in fear.

By morning, Blackened Hollow was silent again. But if you go near the village at night, you might hear the humming sound and see four faces staring back at you from the broken windows.
