Srinagar: Police in Pulwama have arrested a “notorious” drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession, an official handout informed Monday.
It said one Mudasir Ahmed Bhat, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Bhat of Parigam, was arrested and five grams of heroin was recovered from his possession.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Pulwama for investigation.
