Srinagar: Police in Kupwara have detained a drug peddler under the PIT-NDPS Act.
Police detained Irfan Ahmad Pir, son of Wali Mohammad Pir of Wavoora under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT-NDPS) Act. The accused is involved in case FIR No. 28/2021 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act registered at Police Station Sogam. He has been lodged in District Jail Bhadarwah, police informed.
