Srinagar: Police in Handwara arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession, a police handout informed Wednesday.
It said in Devaspora Magam, one Zubair Sultan Lone, son of Mohammad Sultan Lone of Khanbal Handwara, was arrested and 12 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession.
A case under relevant provisions of law was registered in Police Station Handwara for investigation.
