Power shutdown alert in Srinagar on Dec 24 and 26

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns to facilitate minor repairs and replacement of damaged clamps and conductors at the 132 KV Bays of Transformer Bank-I & II, along with the 132 KV ICT Ckt-I.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the 220/132 KV Transformer Bank-I of Grid Station Pampore and 132 KV ICT Ckt-I will remain non-operational on December 24, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM.

Additionally, the 220/132 KV Transformer Bank-II of Grid Station Pampore will remain shut on December 26, 2024, during the same time frame, from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM.

Residents and businesses in the affected areas are advised to make necessary arrangements and cooperate with the authorities to ensure smooth execution of the repair works.
