Srinagar: Prof Shaad Ramzan has been selected by the Prasar Bharati jury to represent Kashmiri language at the National Symposium of Poets – 2025 to be held by Prasar Bharati on December 19 in Mumbai.
Pertinently, selected poets from 22 Indian languages will present their poems in the event at Mumbai.
The recording of this symposium, held in connection with the Republic Day every year, is being broadcast from all the Stations of Akashvani in the country on 25th of January at 10:00 PM.
Shaad Ramzan’s poem ‘Tyuth Kanh Baeth’ is a prayer made for the bliss of reconnection to nature and its bounties beyond measures and boundaries.
Prof Shaad is a Sahitya Akademi Awardee poet and critic of eminence with many significant books of literature to his credit. A celebrated academician, Shaad is presently the Convener of the Kashmiri Advisory Committee of Sahitya Akademi.
