Power shutdown scheduled for Sangam and Takenwari areas on Dec 14 and 18

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown to facilitate essential maintenance and upgrade works.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the 33KV Sangam-Takenwari line will undergo maintenance, leading to a temporary shutdown of the 33/11KV Receiving Station at Takenwari.

As a result, power supply to the Shanglipora and Sangam areas will be disrupted from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM on December 14 and December 18, 2024.

Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to plan accordingly and cooperate with the authorities during this period to ensure the successful completion of the necessary works.
