Dear Hon’ble Chief Minister,

I am writing to express grave concern regarding the critical situation at the Sherbagh Maternity & Children Hospital. The current location of the hospital presents significant challenges that severely impact the quality of healthcare provided to mothers and children:

Inadequate Space and Facilities: The hospital suffers from severe overcrowding due to limited space. This leads to  Overburdened staff and inadequate patient care. Lack of proper hygiene and increased risk of infections.Difficulty in providing essential services and amenities.

Traffic Congestion and Accessibility Issues: The narrow roads leading to the hospital create severe traffic congestion, especially during emergencies. This leads to delays the timely arrival of patients, potentially endangering lives. Hampers the movement of ambulances and emergency vehicles.Causes immense stress and inconvenience for patients and their families. These issues pose a serious threat to the health and well-being of mothers and children in the region.

I urge you to consider the following: Immediate relocation of the hospital to a more spacious and accessible location with improved infrastructure.  Development of a comprehensive plan to address the identified shortcomings and ensure the provision of quality healthcare services.

I trust that you will give this matter your urgent attention and take necessary steps to improve the healthcare facilities for the people of this region.
