Srinagar: A decomposed body was found in the Veshaw Nallah near the Khudwani area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday.
An official said that some passersby spotted the body floating in the stream and informed the police.
He said soon a police team shifted the body to a nearby health facility for medico-legal formalities.
He added that the body has been kept in a mortuary until its identification is completed, while further investigation has been initiated. (NVI)
