Ganderbal: A 19-year-old youth was attacked with an iron rod by a group of young people while traveling on a bus near the Wussan petrol pump in the Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday.
Quoting officials, news agency NVI reported that Arsalan Latif, a resident of Satrina Kangan, was attacked with an iron rod by a group of other youths. Latif suffered injuries during the assault and was rushed to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Wussan for treatment.
Police have begun an investigation into the matter.
