Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Srinagar and recovered psychotropic substances from his possession, a police spokesperson informed Wednesday.
He said one Altaf Ahmad Shah, son of Gulam Hassan Shah of Dalal Mohalla Zainakadal, was arrested after 500 tablets of banned composition and 15 bottles of Codeine Phosphate were recovered from his car (JK15A-8122). Vehicle was also seized, while a case was registered for investigation.
