The deputation demanded regularization of PHE casual labourers, ITI Trained CP Workers and those who donated land to the PHE department for water supply schemes.

They told the Minister that they have been working for the last 20 years in the department and about 23711 daily wagers and their families are suffering due to lack of any policy for their regularisation.

They expressed hope that the government will consider redressal of their issues and concerns on priority.

The Minister, while responding to issues raised by the deputation, assured them that all their demands and grievances would be looked into for redressal on a priority basis.
