SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown to facilitate jumpering work on the 33KV Lisser-Hiller line.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the shutdown will affect the 33KV Lisser-Hiller line, leading to a temporary halt of operations at the 33/11KV Receiving Stations in Hiller, Shankerpora, and Arkhashpora. Consequently, power supply to several areas, including Hiller Badasgam, Larkipora, Shankerpora, Arkhashpora, Akingam, Lisser, Dehruna, and Khallar, will be disrupted.

The power outage will occur from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Residents in the affected areas are advised to take note and plan accordingly.

The KPDCL has urged the public to bear with the inconvenience, emphasizing that the maintenance work is essential for ensuring better power supply in the future.
