Srinagar: A teenage girl died while another person was injured in an accident in the Darshan Nagar area of Rajouri district on Monday, reports said.
Quoting officials, news agency GNS reported that a motorcycle collided with a dumper truck (JK11D-8195) at Drashan Nagar Nowshera resulting in the on-spot death of one person and injury to the other.
The deceased has been identified as Shilpa Sharma (18), daughter of Ram Krishan, resident of Kalakote and the injured has been identified as Aatish Sharma, son of Sadhu Ram, resident of Nonial, officials said.
Police have registered a case in this regard and an investigation has been taken up, they said.
