Shameema Firdous addresses provincial-level meeting at Nawa-e-Subha

Srinagar: The President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Women’s Wing, MLA Habba kadal Shameema Firdous urged women’s wing functionaries to effectively promote the government’s policies and programs.

She made these remarks while addressing a provincial meeting held today at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar.

The meeting commended the efforts of the government led by Omar Abdullah in implementing various corrective measures and providing relief to the people on multiple fronts, such as relaxing the age limit for JKPSC candidates and restoring the November-December academic calendar.

The functionaries present unanimously praised the government for its resolution on the restoration of special status in the assembly and the cabinet’s resolution on the restoration of statehood.

Shameema urged the women’s wing office bearers to actively promote the commendable work carried out by the government led by Omar Abdullah at the grassroots level.

She lauded the government’s efforts and expressed optimism that all promises made by the government will be fulfilled.

Additional General Secretary Dr. Mustafa Kamal, who also addressed the gathering, emphasized the vital role of women in society and their contribution to strengthening the party.

PP Women’s Wing, Er. Sabiya Qadri, reiterated the wing’s dedication to resolving women’s issues, stating that the wing will actively address the issues with concerned ministries for prompt resolution.
