Reasi: Eleven children forced into beggary were rescued during a joint anti-beggary and Children in Street Situations (CISS) drive in Katra township by the Child Helpline in collaboration with the Police and Health departments, an official press release informed Friday.
It said after logging a DD entry at the Katra Police station, the rescued children were transferred to Reasi, and while the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), counselled them.
Following the counselling, all children have been shifted to Parisha Girls Home, Reasi for further action.
