Srinagar: In a significant move towards improving healthcare services in Beerwah, Hon’ble MLA Dr. Shafi Ahmed Wani chaired a Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) meeting at the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Beerwah today.

Key officials, including Dr. Mushtaq, District Nodal Officer of the National Health Mission (NHM), Dr. Mohd Ayub Khan, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Budgam, and sectoral heads from Beerwah and Khag, along with senior citizens from the area, attended the session.

The meeting addressed a comprehensive agenda centered on advancing healthcare services, infrastructure development, and community involvement. Topics covered included improving healthcare accessibility, fostering community participation, and ensuring that local health facilities meet essential standards. In line with these goals, participants discussed measures to enhance transparency in fund management and the allocation of resources for healthcare upgrades.

MLA Dr. Shafi Ahmed Wani commended the dedication of the medical staff and encouraged them to uphold medical ethics and values. He highlighted the pivotal role they play in uplifting public healthcare and urged continued commitment to enhancing patient care in the region.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks, underscoring the collaborative spirit and shared vision among local leaders, healthcare officials, and the community to foster meaningful healthcare improvements in Beerwah.
