Srinagar: Police in Handwara have attached properties worth crores belonging to four “terror handlers based in Pakistan”, a police spokesperson informed Friday.
He said the attached property includes 9 Kanals, 11 Marlas of land worth crores belonging to “terrorist handlers based in Pakistan” — Abdul Majeed Malla, son of Mohammad Ahsan Malla; Abdul Rashid Mir, son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Mir, both residents of Supernaghama; Arshid Ahmad Parry, son of Mohammad Akbar, resident of Mandigam; and Sajad Ahmad Bhat, son of Abdul Rashid Bhat of Palpora Kralgund.
The action was taken under sections of 88 CrPC (83 central) against the accused following their declaration as proclaimed offenders in case FIR No. 73/2011 under section 2/3 IMCO Act, 121 A RPC of Police Station Kralgund, police said.
