JAMMU: Fostering the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’, Jammu Kashmir Raj Bhawan today hosted the Foundation Day celebration of Uttarakhand.
Students, Security personnel and the people of Uttarakhand living in J&K UT were the special invitees.
On the occasion, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended his felicitations to the people of Uttarakhand and the distinguished guests present.
Recalling its rich history, the Lt Governor paid homage to the Bravehearts and great personalities of Uttarakhand and remembered their selfless service to the nation.
“Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is blessed with tremendous diversity and richness both in its natural resources and human capital and witnessing a new era of peace, progress and prosperity. I pray that Uttarakhand continues to scale new heights of progress and prosperity in the years to come,” the Lt Governor said.
