Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference MLA Lal Chowk Assembly Ahsan Pardesi today chaired a meeting with officers at Banquet Hall, Srinagar.
The meeting was also attended by the senior party leader and Provincial President of the party’s Women’s Wing Er. Sabiya Qadri.
During the meeting, Pardesi emphasized the need to address pressing public issues such as water scarcity, electricity supply, road infrastructure, and timely distribution of ration.
He urged the officers to prioritize preparing for the upcoming winter season and ensuring they are ready to handle any emergencies that may arise.
Ahsan called on the administration to take action and be proactive in addressing winter challenges. He expressed concern with the lack of implementation following meetings and stressed the importance of coordination among departments to avoid compounding hardships for the public.
Ahsan strongly recommended that the PDD create a comprehensive schedule for power distribution, stockpile transformers, poles, and conductors in advance, and prioritize tree branch cutting well before winter arrives.
