Srinagar: Two unidentified terrorists have been killed in the ongoing encounter in Sagipora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said.
A top official told news agency — Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that following credible inputs about presence of terrorists in Panipura, Sagipora, a joint operation by was launched.
He said that as forces zeroed in the suspected spot, exchange of fire took place between the hiding terrorists and the forces, leading to a fierce encounter.
In the ensuing operation, tow terrorists have been killed, while operation is ongoing, he said.
