The Principal Secretary of School Education, Project Director Samgra Shiksha, senior officers of the school education department, and parents of Sonika, among others, were also present on the occasion.

During the interaction with Sonika, the Minister advised her to take maximum benefit of this opportunity to hone her talent. “Take full advantage of this opportunity for your personal and professional growth,” Sakeena Masood said.

“This unique platform will broaden your perspectives on science and innovation and help you to contribute towards technology and research in your place.”

While engaging with officers on the occasion, the Minister underlined that the selection of Sonika will be an inspiration for all the students of Jammu and Kashmir, especially the students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Doda, as Sonika was student of that school.

“Her participation is expected to have a far-reaching impact on the educational landscape of Jammu & Kashmir,” Sakeena Masood stated.

She urged the department to provide all possible facilities to students for their proper grooming and holistic development so that they can compete in these kinds of programs.
