Pulwama: In a comprehensive outreach, MP Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency, Aga Ruhullah and MLA Pampore, Justice (Retd) Hasnain Masoodi today visited Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Pampore to evaluate the hospital’s operations and address public grievances.

The visit highlighted the evaluation of health care facility and community engagement, underscoring the commitment to accessible and affordable healthcare.

SDH Pampore serves an extensive catchment area, catering to over 1,200 patients daily. The CMO and BMO Pampore presented an overview of the hospital services and were apprised of additional requirements and resources for improving patient care.

During the inspection, the visiting dignitaries engaged with patients, hospital staff and local residents, who gave vital feedback. MP Aga Ruhullah and MLA Justice (Retd) Hasnain Masoodi also examined various sections of the hospital, including the post-operative ward, Ayushman Bharat unit, X-ray facility and laboratory ensuring the meeting of necessary healthcare standards.

On the occasion, the public also demanded enhancement of recreational and sports facilities, including a well-equipped sports stadium and an indoor stadium.

Following the hospital visit, Aga Ruhullah and Hasnain Masoodi visited Spice Park in Dusoo, Pampore, where they visited various sections and interacted with local farmers. As saffron farming is the backbone of Pampore’s economy, farmers during their interaction raised certain issues and urged redressal including making irrigation facilities functional.

On the occasion, MP and MLA assured to address the issues by raising these at the appropriate fora aiming for swift and appropriate redressal.
