Srinagar: Security forces on Wednesday arrested a “terrorist associate” at a checkpoint in Chhampura, Handwara.
A senior police officer said that the terrorist associate, identified as Shahid Saleem, son of Ghulam Mohammad Lone from Bijhama Boniyar, Baramulla, was apprehended in Handwara.
He said authorities recovered one pistol and two grenades from him. (NVI)
